Alice's Flamingo

I disagree with sabisaotome on the first point actually. This is a well executed composition in which her head breaking the water actually completes this piece. Not only does it reflect the floral-like fractal reflection of the purple flamingo, it reminds us that we are in water, something that the background has difficulty achieving.

On another note, however, her stare at the camera makes the piece somewhat distracting. She could be looking away, at the same direction as the balloon, or interacting in another with it. The bottom part of the dress was incomplete, the underdress (or blue part) of the dress was obscured by the balloon, causing an imbalance where we expect more dress to be seen. Not seeing that part may be the only lacking part of this photograph. Otherwise I absolutely love this piece, and the ethreal and lucid dreaming quality it gives! Good job!
